I’m Michael, Associate Partner at Accounting People

I have over 35 years experience running and managing an accountancy practice, advising clients on all aspects of their business, whether large or small. Providing high quality service and advice has always been my top priority, closely followed by dedicated tax planning throughout the year to help clients achieve meaningful tax savings.

My experience and knowledge in taxation have been invaluable when dealing with HMRC, covering income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and PAYE. Helping clients resolve complex issues and reach positive outcomes is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I’m Successful Because…

To me, a successful accountant is someone who truly cares for their clients’ businesses as if they were their own. I’m proud to have maintained strong, long-term relationships with my clients, most of whom have stayed with me for decades. A client once told me, “It’s a pity you don’t weigh more – you’re worth your weight in gold,” which gives me the drive and motivation to care even more for my clients.

In My Free Time…

I love spending time in the countryside and travelling abroad whenever I can. My favourite destinations include the Caribbean, West Coast of America, and the Greek Islands, which always draw me back.

My Aspiration

I’ve always enjoyed learning, and one of my personal goals is to learn more languages beyond Greek and English – ideally while exploring new places along the way.
