Ian Luke

I’m Ian, co-founder, and partner of Accounting People Ltd. I started my career in a multi-national corporate environment, then moved into a private Accountancy practice in 2002. There, I realized that my true passion was working with owner-managed businesses and SMEs to support their growth and success. I particularly enjoy helping business owners define and achieve their own goals throughout their business journey, from start-up to exit, and my focus is on putting people first, hence the name Accounting People.

I’m successful because…

I’m a big believer in teamwork and communication being the key to a good working relationship. I am disciplined and keen to learn, with a vitality and zest to improve myself and those around me. I like to think I empower those around me to be the best version of myself. I have high expectations of myself and am never scared to get my hands dirty.

I have technical expertise in audit, corporate tax, assisting start-ups, and tax planning for individuals. I will often advise businesses with strategies to enable them to move forward and achieve their financial targets.

In my free time…

I’m a full-time taxi driver for my children. I love being outdoors, taking day trips to the coast with my family, and finding any excuse to stop at an ice cream van.
