What does your average day look like?

My day usually revolves around maintaining client Bookkeeping records, reconciling accounts, preparing final accounts, and ensuring financial statements are accurate and up to date. It’s a mix of detail-focused work and collaborating with the team to meet client deadlines.

What was your work history before joining Accounting People?

Before joining, I was pursuing my ACCA qualification while simultaneously working at a UK-based accounting firm. There I prepared year-end financial statements, managed bookkeeping, handled trial balances, and journal entries, all while ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards.

What are the main things that you bring to your role ?

Attention to detail is a big one, accuracy in numbers really matters to me. I also bring solid hands-on experience with UK accounting standards and a genuine commitment to delivering quality work that ensures clients are always up to date with their records and everything is submitted well before deadlines.

When you were 10, what job did you wanted you when you grew up?

I wanted to be a pilot! We used to travel by plane to my mum’s hometown quite often, and I just fell in love with the whole experience. Clearly my path took a different turn, but the love for the journey stuck around!

Tell us a little about yourself outside work:

Outside of work, I’m a big sports fan, football and cricket have always been my go-to. These days though, you’ll mostly find me on the PC playing Valorant and other games. It’s a great way to switch off after a busy day.
