My background is in software engineering, which is one of the reasons I enjoy SEO. I like the mix of websites, content, data, search engines and technology. 

Before joining Accounting People, I worked on different digital projects, including website development, landing pages, SEO, Google Ads and content optimisation. This helped me understand how websites work, how people use them, and how search engines read them. 

At Accounting People, I use this experience to help improve our website, increase online visibility, and make it easier for people to find the right accounting support. 

I’m successful because… 

I enjoy solving problems and improving things step by step. In SEO, even small details can make a big difference, such as page titles, content, internal links, website structure, speed and search intent. 

I also enjoy learning about AI and how search is changing. My goal is to help the right people find the right pages at the right time. 

A day in my role 

A normal day usually starts with checking website performance, Google Search Console, rankings and SEO tasks. 

After that, I may work on keyword research, service pages, blogs, technical SEO, internal links, image optimisation, local SEO or Google Ads support. 

Because of my software engineering background, I also enjoy working on the technical side of SEO, including website structure, user experience, tracking, page speed and landing page improvements. 

In my free time… 

Outside work, I like learning more about AI, web development, SEO and digital marketing. I enjoy improving my skills, exploring new tools, and understanding how technology is changing online marketing. 

I also like spending time with family and focusing on personal growth. 

My dream career when I was 10: 

When I was 10, I did not have a clear career plan, but I was always curious about computers and technology. 

Looking back, it makes sense that I now work in a role where websites, SEO, AI and problem-solving all come together.
