I have always worked in private practice. Starting as a trainee in a London practice, I worked my way up to a senior manager where I was a lead auditor and responsible for managing a client portfolio.

I have an analytical mind which lends itself perfectly to the business advisory side of our company. I always wanted to be financially independent and run my own business and I am proactive at pointing out opportunities to clients who wish to grow and streamline their own businesses. I often advise on how clients’ can increase their exposure to new markets, improve profitability and streamline processes to bring about efficiencies. It’s not always about increasing revenues!

No two days are the same. Aside from the day-to-day management of the team and practice, I can be involved in dealing with client queries, assisting in technical areas of personal and business taxation, participating in audits, and troubleshooting with senior team members.

I’m successful because…

I regularly review team performance, set individual goals, and help implement an infrastructure to help them achieve them. It’s my job to keep an eye on the workflow and future deadlines to prevent bottlenecks, and I have regular meetings with the team’s senior members to ensure the practice’s smooth running. I mentor staff and network with existing clients, potential clients, and third parties, to ensure the development of the business.

In my free time…

I love to spend time with my kids and wife. I enjoy watching football and cricket. I keep fit and play badminton every week.
